William H. Long was born Monroe County, 1837. Parents born in Pennsylvania. Found 1850 census noting that he was living with Jacob McCoy (McVey?) probably as a farm hand. In 1859 he married Susan Long (yes her maiden name was Long)in Noble county. Need information on his parents. Records at the court house were destroyed in several fires. He lived most of his life in Salesville, OH, Guernsey County. He died in 1905. Very active in the Masonic Lodge. Children were Sumpter, Charles, Mary, John & Maxwell (Homer).
