I bet the George Lindledecker in the 1850 census should be George Sindledecker. This is what I have found... Only 5 Sindledeckers died in Ohio from the 1913 - 1944 death index.
They were Frank W., died 6/18/1927 Trumbull County; Helen V., d. 10/21/1935 Belmont county; Laurea, d. 7/30/1916, Belmont County; Pearl A., 5/29/1925 Trumbull county; and William d. 4/6/1926 in Trumbull county. Monroe County Ohio is next to the Ohio River and West Virginia.. I found lots of Sindledeckers on that side of the river... starting with the WV Death Index:

William M. Sindledecker b. Sept. 27, 1853 d Oct. 21, 1925 farmer; born in Ohio father was George sindledecker b. Ohio and Mary Goodman born in Ohio buried in Rockport Cemetery, Mineral Well, Wood County, WV; informant George Sindledecker, Parkersburg, WV

Hattie Sindledecker, single, born Oct. 12, 1881, born in Wood county, WV; died July 7, 1936 at Spencer State Hospital; father William Sindledecker, born in Monroe County, Ohio; mother (female) Brand, born in Monongalia County, WV, buried in rockport Cemetery. died from pulmonary Tuberculosis

Cora E. Sindledecker, married, husband's name A. E. Sindledecker. She was born April 26, 1871 in Cairo WV and died Dec. 12, 1942; father was John Rexroad, mother Rachel (Unknown) died from accidental fall - cerebral hemorrhage, buried in Mt. Olivet, Parkersburg, WV

Baby Sindledecker, stillborn July 7, 1943 in Clarksburg, Harrison County, WV, father Ed William Sindledecker, mother Audra Deloris Leggitt

Hattie Sindledecker, born June 18, 1862 in Woodsfield, Ohio, died Sept. 23, 1946, acute nephritis, senility; father Thomas Morris, Ohio and Elizabeth Jeffres, born in PA. informant G. W. Sindledecker, buried in I.O.O.F. cemetery, Parkersburg, WV

Albert E. Sindledecker, b. Dec. 20, 1880, died May 30, 1946, retired Standard Oil...father was George Sindledecker, Monroe County, Ohio and mother Sarah E. Moore, Monroe County, Ohio, he was a widow, buried at Big Tygart Cemetery, Mineral Wells, WV , died from acute coronary occlusion

George W. Sindledecker, born May 12, 1859 in Woodsfield, Ohio, died April 28, 1950, widow, father's name George Sindledecker, SR. mother Mary Goodman, buried in I.O.O.F. Parkersburg, WV, died from acute dilation of heart

Levi W. Sindledecker, born April 10, 1878 in Wood county, WV, died June 26, 1952 in Parkersburg, WV, father George Sindledecker, mother Sarah E. Moore, high blood pressure...buried Rockport Cemetery

William Emereson Sindledecker, born Jan. 29, 1924, born in WV, died June 11, 1955, car accident car went off road and over hill; father Clermont E. Sindledecker, mother Dovia Barnhouse, married; informant Betty Lou Sindledecker, buried Evergreen Cemetery, Parkersburg, WV

Rev A. C. Crist is the Victim of Apoplexy
Suffers a Stroke at Deleware home Tuesday

Rev. A. C. Crist, widely-known Presbyterian minister, and father of Representative Harry W. Crist, suffered a stroke of apoplexy just after noon Tuesday, and is in a serious condiditon at his home on west William Street. Rev. Mr. Crist was at his home preparing to attend the funeral of Mr. Joseph Sindledecker, at which he was to assist Rev. L. E. Rush, when the stroke came. Re. Mr. Crist is sixty-seven years of age and his condition is very serious - Delaware Gazette.
