Thomas William HICKINBOEHN./.HIGKINBOTHAM... Born: Oct 8 1887 in Center Township, Monnroe County, OHIO. Particularly cousins. Particularly descendants, not ancestry. The HICKINBOTHAM or HIGGENBOTTOM names goes back to England and that is in on the internet family trees and such. Need the infomation to come forward.
In the 1920, I believe his wife's surname is NORRIS. This search was done searching the name "Letha" with approx year of bith and state of birth. 4 Letha's came up living in Monroe County, Ohio.... of which a Letha NORRIS lives in Center Township, as Thomas and his brother, and the next door neighbor, George MORRIS, also, comes from in Ohio.
(The other Letha surnames in Monroe Co born around 1891-3: Letha W McMulle;, Letha L. Eckelberry; Letha G. Hannar; and Letha M McCollum)
There is a George MORRIS (like the one living next door to the Hickinbotham's in Strike Axe, Osage, OK) that is living in Center Township, Monroe, Ohio for 1900. This George is an adopted son of William and Sarah L. MORRIS... William is born July 1849 in Ohio. Sarah born July 1844 in Ohio and her parents were born in Germany. William is a Superintendent and Sarah is a Matron of the Children's Home in Woodsfield, Monroe county, Ohio. Next to Center township.
Note the spelling of Hickinbotham on the following 1920 census as Hickingboehn. It is back to Hickingbotham on their WWI cards and their 1900 census and John's 1930 census.
