Sylvanus Russell 42 yrs old, Potter, Born in Mass.
Julia Russell 36 yrs, Born in PA
Lydia Russell 9 yrs Born in Ohio
Emily Russell 3 Yrs Born in Ohio
Rhoda (Roby) Russell 6 months Born in Ohio
Sylvanus Russell was born abt. 1807 Mass he married Julia Ann Lawrence on 21 Feb 1839 in Belmont, Ohio. Julia was born abt. 1811 in PA.
By the 1860 census they are in Wayne, Belmont, Ohio with the following children: Emily C. Russell who married James R. Maxwell, Catharine Russell, this is Roby Catharine Russell who married Thomas Yarnall, John R. Russell, Louis Russell. Lydia Russell had married William Shannon Thornberry by the 1860 census. I believe this family were Quakers. How would I find any records on early Quaker familis in Ohio?
