William Vance had enlisted in the War of 1812 in Fairview Guernsey Co. Ohio, but lived most of his life in Malaga Twp, Monroe Co. He and his wife Catherine (1791-1845) are buried in Malaga Cemetery.

Was this William Vance b. 1785-1790, the son of William Vance d. 1804 Fayette Co. PA, Nephew of Ezekiel Vance located in Oxford Twp. Guernsey Co. Ohio?
