Unfortunately I haven't been able to get very much information on this side of my family yet. I do show the following Myers (spelled varying ways in each census) in the Ohio Census Monroe County Green Twp:
Fredrick Myers b. 1776 or 1780 (1850 census shows 70 yoa & 1860 census shows 84 yoa--living with your Joseph Myers and his family)
I believe the following to possibly be his children, but alas no proof yet:
Andrew Myers b. Abt 1802
William Myers b. Abt 1809
John Myers b. Abt 1811
Frederick Myers b. Abt 1813
Joseph Myers b. Abt 1820 ** your relative**
Elias Myers b. Abt 1822

Catherine Myers b. Abt 1806 or 1816 (1850 census shows 34 yoa & 1880 census shows 74 yoa)
I known that Andrew & Catherine are brother and sister, he is living with her in the 1880 Iowa Census Appanoose County Center Twp.
Catherine Myers m. William Eddy (I have not connected him into my other Eddy line but they came from Mongonolia County, West Virginia and I have found Myers there. Sorry I can't be of more help.
