Juli, I have the Young surname in my family tree. Jonathan Wise married Jennie Young ca 1822, She died about 1839 (most likely in childbirth). I didn't know anything else about her until recently. Someone else emailed me about a Margaret Wise who was living with the Michael Atkinson family in the 1850 Monroe county census, age 9. This researcher was from the Atkinson line and had found an obit for Margaret Wise in her grandparents papers. There was also a Martha Wise living with the John Creighton family, also age 9. From other papers I have I had thought these two girls might possibly be part of my ancestor Jonathan and Jennie Young family but was unable to get proof. When I asked this researcher what the maiden name of Michael Atkinson's wife was guess what her response was??? Young!! It appears that when Jennie Young died either in childbirth or shortly after, Jonathan fostered out twin girls one at least to a possible Aunt, sister of Jennie. This is still conjecture and needs further proof, but seems very plausible. The obit of Margaret listed surviving brothers, Jonathan Wise of Villisca IA and Daniel Wise of MO. Apparently the Young girls were from Ireland, County Derry. This is all I have on this line, which is not much. Hope it helps.
