Hello Echo!I live in Elkhart, Indiana. I can go back to Campbeltown in the 1700's with sources, and after that the history books take the family way back.
My line starting with Andrew:
Andrew R Ralston--Agnes Brown
Mary Ann Ralston--John Potts
Nancy Potts--John Carson
James Ralston Carson-Orrenda Willes
Grace Carson---Charles J. Stockmaster
Frederick C Stockmaster--Hazel M Ackerman
Martha Louise Stockmaster-Richard R Burritt
and then me.....
All of the people above are deceased, (except me of course)
The migration pattern that I have figured out is:
Campbeltown Argyll Scotland>
Northern Ireland>
Pennsylvana>
Ohio>
Indiana
John Carson married Nancy Potts in Butler County Ohio, had their children, and then went to Fayette County, IN and then on to Hamilton County, In. where they died and their son James R Carson continued to live there until his death. Nancy and John's graves are in the Cicero Cemetery in Cicero, Hamilton Co, IN and James Ralston Carson and his family is in the Scherer Cemetery in Hamilton County, IN.
I have more info on the family and would be happy to share what I have.
your new found cousin,
Beth Thurston
