I’m not related to any member of this family. 1940 is the last available census at this time. Census records do not record the complete DOB. Only the 1900 census recorded a DOB and it's in the form of MM/YYYY. WHERE did Marcus Lafayette Warman die. The Death cert should show the complete DOB + parents names. Order his death cert directly from the county of death clerks office. OH Vital Records - Prior to September 7, 1949, marriages were record at the county probate courts as each county was formed. At that time, an index of all Ohio marriages was not maintained. It was not until 1949, that a statewide index of marriages that occurred in Ohio was created at the state level with the Ohio Department of Health, Office of Vital Statistics. While the state Office of Vital Statistics maintains indexes of all marriages, the county probate courts where the married couples applied for their license is where the official marriage certificate resides. Ohio law established the Bureau of Vital Statistics on December 20, 1908. On that date, the mandatory registration of birth and death certificates occurred. Since that time, all birth and death certificates have been registered through our office. statement source - Mark Kassouf Compliance Manager/State Mass Fatality Planner/Chief Fraud Officer Ohio Department of Health Office of Vital Statistics 614-644-0165 TRY - Find a grave – FREE SITE - volunteer site all states; frequently has headstone pic DO NOT SEARCH FOR A MARRIED WOMAN USING HER MAIDEN NAME. http://www.worldvitalrecords.com/ Try Vital Records – Birth, Marriage, & Death, Social Security Info., Census Records – FREE ALL STATES http://search.labs.familysearch.org/ 1900 - Name: Marcus L Warman [Marchie D Warman] Age: 33 Birth Date: Feb 1867 Birthplace: Ohio Home in 1900: Tate, Clermont, Ohio Race: White Gender: Male Relation to Head of House: Head Marital Status: Married Spouse's Name: Sarah Warman Marriage Year: 1886 Years married: 14 Father's Birthplace: Ohio Mother's Birthplace: Ohio Occupation: Marcus L Warman 33 Sarah Warman 32, 10/67 KY - 4 children & 3 living Wilber Warman 12, 11/82 OH Edgar Warman 9, 8/90 OH Walter Warman 8, 7/92 OH 1910 - Name: Layfayette Warman [Lafayette Warman] Age in 1910: 43 Birth Year: 1867 Birthplace: Ohio Home in 1910: Richmond, Fort Bend, Texas Race: White Gender: Male Relation to Head of House: Head Marital Status: Married Spouse's Name: Sarrah Warman Father's Birthplace: Ohio Mother's Birthplace: Ohio Layfayette Warman 43, OH - works @ saw mill Sarrah Warman 42, KY - 7 children Wilber Warman 22, OH Walter Warman 17, OH Edgar Warman 20, OH Blanch Warman 9, OH Sam Everette Warman 7, OH Allen Warman 2, OH Roy Warman 2m, TX TX Vital Records - The Texas Vital Statistics law to register births and deaths was not passed until 1903. Texas was then and is now a dual registration state which means the local registrars retain a copy of all birth and death records for the events that take place within their jurisdiction and the state retains the original of all birth and death records for the entire State of Texas. However, the statutes for registering these events were not made mandatory until 1926. However, many local registrars did not adhere to the statutes until the late 1930’s or early 1940’s. This means some records reside only in the local registrars’ files and not with the State. statement source - Sherry Crawford Group Manager Request Processing Vital Statistics Unit (888) 963-7111, ext 6195 ________________________________________ Notify Administrator about this message?
