David STILL, b Ohio 1807, m Mary NORRIS 1828. He was a carpenter, according to the 1850 Hardin Co, IL census. I believe this David STILL was the son of Alexander and Mary (BROADBURY) STELLE, of Preble Co., OH. Their children were Peter, b 1829 , John, b 1831; Margaret, b 1832; Isaac, b 1836; Amanda, b 1839 (d 1853); Elizabeth, b 1842; Abner, b 1844 (d 1853); Mary, b 1848; and David Alexander STILL, b 1852 in Whiteside Co, IL. Margaret STILL, b 1832 Ohio, d Carroll Co. IL Feb. 4, 1913, buried Grove Hill Cemetery, Morrison, Whiteside Co. m 1854 Abram/Abraham JOHNSON in Sterling, Whiteside Co, IL. (Abram d 1867) Her obituary names her three surviving children (Curtis-m Carrie BARTHOLOMEW; Mary Ann [Molly]-m Peter K. SMITH; and Milford-m Blanche MASON), numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, a brother- David STILL of Santa Monica, CA, a sister- Mrs. Mary LIBBY of Kansas City, MO, and a niece- Mrs. Frank (Olley Bella COCHRAN) KRAMER, daughter of Alexander and Elizabeth (STILL) COCHRAN. What happened to her brother, John. I can't find him after 1850. (Her brother Peter d 1895. Another brother, Isaac, d in 1909.) Need to find Alexander's parents. He was b abt 1766 in New Jersey; d 1826 Preble Co., OH. After his first wife died, he married Phebe Marsh and had another family.
