Apparently Charlotte had another child 1880-1900. There was a Margaret Piper, d/o Washington and C. Piper, that died of fever on 8 Oct 1884 in Harpers Ferry. She was 13 years old, which contradicts George and Charlotte being married ca 1875 unless Washington and C. Piper are not George and Charlotte.
