Catherine Ewing & Abraham Fleming

Abraham Fleming is known to have married Catherine Ewing. I don't know where they married, but I know that Catherine Fleming died in 1936 in California.

Catherine was born November 1850, to Elizabeth Ann Ewing
(nee Mann). Her father's name I believe was John Ewing. John died before Catherine was born.
John Ewing and Elisabeth Mann also had a son. J. H. Ewing, born about 1846 in Ohio.

Elizabeth Mann was born about 1822 in Shelby, Ohio, and first married James Skillen in Ohio abt 1841. I don't think there were children to this marriage, James died a few months after the marriage.

(I have parental info for Elizabeth Mann.)

After John Ewing died (he is not in the 1850 US census)
We find Elisabeth listed as Erven (or some poor misspelling of Ewing) in the home of her parents, with her son.

I have reason to believe that John Ewing might have had a brother (or cousin) named Hiram Ewing, who married Belinda Skillen. Both died before 1852 in Ohio (I think of measles), they had 2 children, Emma Ewing and Thomas Ewing. I don't know how long the children lived.

Elizabeth Ann Mann went on to a third marriage, to Christian Katsel, and they had the following children:

George C Katsel
1855 – 1915
Mary A Katsel
1859 –
Mollie Katsel
1860 –
Harrison (Harry) Christian Katsel

Christian had been married previously, altho I don't know who to- at this time. He and his first wife had the following children:
Amanda J. Katsel
1844 –
Sarah C. Katsel
1847 –
James R Katsel
1849 –
Francis Ann (Anna) Katsel
1851 – 1902

WELL now that you know more about Catherine Ewing b. 1850, I'm wondering if anyone can tell me more about
Catherine and Abraham Fleming. California abt 1930's.

Thanks
Tammy Mitchell
ps, not related, doing research for someone else.
