I'm hunting for my great grandfather. I believe his name was Joseph Jacob Bayless. Middle name may be wrong. I believe he immigrated to Ohio about 1852. We believe he was a Ship's Steward and eventually moved to St. Louis, MO. His wife was Clara. After Joseph's death she remarried and her last name was Finn. Joseph and Clara had 7 children, one was my grandmother Theresa Marie Bayless-Lynch. Any help would be appreciated.
