You're welcome. I volunteer anywhere, but for this family I think I've just about found everything available to me.
If you have other family, I'd be happy to check further. Again, thank you. =)

Next, is getting info on my grandmother, Natalia Perez Erwin. She was born in Mexico, but came through Texas with my grandfather admiral--they were married in Texas, my dad Admiral Japtha was born in Tx in 1930. (I havent' started on my mom's side yet.ha)

Hopefully, Matilda's DC will name her mother.
You might also be able to obtain Frederic SETTGAST's DC
d. 4-30-1906 Multnomah OR.
Laura: I'll look into getting these.

Birth info online Portland for
Admiral, and delayed certs for Livingston & Stanley.

Laura: I did find the above as well.

Do you know if Melissa survived, and if so, who she married?

Laura: Not sure...she's a mystery as well; I haven't found any marriage or divorce record.

I still don't understand where Walter might be on the 1900 census. He must've gone to OR on his own, married, then returned to OH with his family. I feel he may have died before 1908 [not on OH Death Certs], but again, don't understand why 1910 Matilda says she is married, rather than widowed. There is also possibility of divorce.
Either reason, she then returns to OR to be near her family. Apparently never remarried.

Laura: I didn't any divorce record either; we wondered about him as well; not much on him whereabouts.

Thanks so much,
Laura
