Hello, I am researching the James ? McFarland family...
The tree enclosed is from Ancestry.
I do find a JW McFarland Feb 4, 1845-April 4, 1922 GAR/Bradley Post 134
and
Alley Anna McFarland May 28, 1848-June 7, 1894 Wife of JW
in the Wood River Hall Co cemetery....makes sense this is my relatives, but the death date of Alley does not match the Ancestry tree????
Jame's and Alley's son George William was my Grandmother's father...He died in 1918 in LaSalle Co....He married Henrietta Westfall.....they had 5 children...only two survived to adult hood.... My Grandmother was one of them...Geneva
Anyone that has knowledge of the Kimple or McFarland families in Ohio or Iowa....I would love to hear from you.
