I am looking for information about George Byron "Barney" STEWART (b. ca. 1854) who married Barbara Pletcher (b. ca. 1854). They lived most (if not all of) their married lives in Elkhart Co., IN. I have quite a bit of information about Barbara Pletcher's ancestors, but virtually nothing about George Byron "Barney" Stewart/Stuart/Stuard.
In 1880 census there is a "Byron Stuard" who I believe is actually George Byron STEWART. According the the 1880 census, George Byron was a minister, he was born in Indiana; his father was born in Kentucky & his mother was born in Ohio. George Byron Stewart and Barbara Pletcher Stewart may have been Mennonite.
George Byron & Barbara Pletcher STEWART/STUART/STUARD had at least 6 children: Edward Stewart, Stewart, Eldon J. Stewart (who married a Arizona [Zoa] Ophelia Fisher), (Laura R.?) Ruth Stewart SIMMON/SIMMONS, Elsie Stewart CHASE, William J. Stewart, and another daugther who married a Frank BALL.

The household next door during the 1880 census could have Byron Stewart's brothers & sister-in-law.
Charles "Stuard" and his wife Sarah is listed as a next door neighbor to "Bryon & Barbory Stuard." Charles also has a brother William "Stuard" living with him.

I would like to find out it Charles Stewart/Stuard (born in OH) and his brother William Stewart/Stuard (also born in OH) are brothers to George Byron "Barney" Stewart/Stuard.
Charles STUARD/STEWART may have married a Sarah Rush.
