Did you read the entry for Dorothy Agnes CAPLIN at http://www.ellisislandrecords.org/search/passSearch.asp?/?
The copy is very faint and most of it is difficult to read but it does say her passage was paid by her "intended husband, Mr. ? Sorensen (or Sarensen), 1930 N. ? Street, Cleveland, Ohio". She arrived on 28 May 1920 from Southampton on the ship Saint Paul.

There was a CAPLIN/SARENSEN marrige in Cuyahoga Co. OH between March and May 1920, but the principal's names were Dolly and Franklin.

Between Dec 1922 and March 1923, Dorothy SORENSON married Charles BUNT and he died in August 1935. Between August and November 1940 Dorothy BUNT married Roy T. LAND and he died in June 1948.

I believe Dorothy and her family are in Southampton, Hampshire, St. Marys civil parish in the 1901 UK census. The CAPLIN family included:
Walter 33 b Hants Southampton, watchmaker
Nellie 23 b Bermuda
Dorothy 2 b Chichester Sussex
Arthur 1 b Hants Southampton

I am not related.
