I am trying to find the parents of Samuel W. Foltz. According to the census information, Samuel's parents were both born in Pennsylvania. I believe he was born about 1837 or 1839. Samuel served with the 118th Ohio Infantry Regiment during the Civil War. He married Margaret Baughman on 3 July 1867 in Putnam County, Ohio and died 8 Jul 1892 in North Creek, Putnam County, Ohio. He had eight children: Monroe, Lillie, Charles, Joseph, Clyde, Jane, Lavola and Mary. I think his parents may have been John and Mary Foltz, but I have no real proof. Thanks for your help.
