One of James' sons in the 1860 census in Savannah Twp., Dawsonville post office, Dawson Co., GA was Robert age 5. His next youngest brother was George P. age 3.

In 1870 the family is in Center Twp., Springfield post office, Greene, MO. George is now 14 and his next oldest brother is Jehiel age 16. Robert and Jehiel are the same person.

Fast forward to 1930. In that census, Jehiel and family lived in Virden, Hidalgo, NM. The household consisted of:
head, Jehiel R., 75, first md at 34, GA, farmer
wife, Dophinia C., 59, 18, TX
dau, Lola, 34, NM
son, Thomas J., 23, NM

Next door/across the road was another son, Charles G. 28 NM. His family consisted of Nell N. 25 AZ and Charles F. 6 NM.

On 11 May 1951, Dophina BEAVERS died in Morenci, Greenlee, AZ. On 11 Aug 1953, Jehiel and Dophina's daughter Lola also died in Morenci.

Even though these deaths were 50+ years ago, it may give you a lead as to their descendants since censuses after 1930 are not yet available.

PS. I have census info on James for 1850-70 and Catherine 1910-20, if you want it. Their daughter Florida, married Thomas MCNEELY abt 1879.
