Hi Thanks for the info - I have more info on this couple
Nancy and Avery are on the 1870 South Dakota Census with
seven children:
Sarah L. b. Iowa
Margaret E. b IA 1858
Phebe Almira b. IA. 1861 D. Apr. 25, 1878 @ Ponca Landing
Cornelius b. 1863 IA.
Nancy Ellen B. IA.
Josephine Mahala b. IA. Apr 11, 1866 My great grandmother
Augusta B. b. Dak. 1869
Amazingly I have Phebe original funeral card listing Avery & Nancy Baker as her parents.
In 1880 Ponca, Dixon Nebraska I again have them with all of the above children but Sarah & Phebe plus 2 more:
Martha M. b. Dak. in 1871 and Frank A. b. Dak. 1875
But I can't find a marriage license for Avery and Nancy or the location of their births other than Avery in PA> and Nancy in Ohio with maiden name as Long.

Thanks maybe this will give you more help to hopefully help me.

Elaine
