I have reason to believe that I may have ancestry connected with the following names: Ephraim SELLS, William Allen (Ad) SELLS, Lewis SELLS, Peter SELLS, and the SELLS CIRCUS which originated from Columbus Ohio. I understand that one of the SELLS daughters married Sheldon BARRETT who also came into the circus business with his new in-laws. The SELLS brothers were born between 1834 and 1845 and all died between 1898 and 1904. The SELLS BROTHERS CIRCUS ran from 1871 to 1905 as a family owned and operated circus. It apparently had ties to Adam FOREPAUGH, the WILD WEST SHOW, and other circus type shows. If you have ANY information on either these SELLS brothers or the SELLS circus, please e-mail me as soon as possible. Thanks.
