DAR member through James Whaley, Sr.

Hi I was just accepted into DAR in July 2009, through my ancestor James Whaley, Sr. who was a patriot from Virginia that got a land grant for Meigs county, Ohio and lived out the rest of his life there with his wife and children. I descend through his daughter Anne Rebecca Whaley that married Josiah Lee. I had to go back through documentation of 8 generations to prove my relationship to this soldier. I am willing to share info with other persons researching the same. I would like to know where his grave is in the Meigs county Pomeroy cemetery at Beech Grove so that I can have my photo taken with it. I would appreciate any guidance in this matter as I have visited the cemetery twice and have been unable to locate it.

Thank you!

Sandra Quinn
