Thank you so much for the info. Do you know who Carrie is? If she is his child, which wife does she belong to? If Nancy died in 1866 and he married Addie in 1878, there must be another wife, or she is not his child.

I don't suppose your marriage book has Addie's marriage to Mr. Bumgarner in it???????? Well I can always hope for a maiden name. Thanks for your help. My daughter-in-law is pleased at every piece of this puzzle. Carol
