Okay, here's some information for you.
John W branch married Rebecca A Oarker 3 July 1856. p. 100 Marriages of Meigs County, OH 1819-1913 by Wes Cochran.
1850 Meigs County OH census, Chester twp.
# 887-887
Josiah Branch 77 CT farmer
Sarah 55 NY
John 16 OH farming
Olive 18 OH School teacher.
Josiah is buried in Mound Cemetery, Chester twp. 20 may 1773 - 10 March 1856.
According to Meigs COunty HX vol 2, p. 88-89, Josiah was married 3 times, his last wife being Sarah Topping whom he married in 1831. Her maiden name may have been Teaple .
By Sarah, Josiah had two children, Olive and John Wallace. Olive married Thomas Parker and John W. married Thomas' sister Rebecca Ann. John Wallace died at age 36 and Rebecca remarried to David Shields.
On the 1860 census they were living in Olive twp, with two children, Mary and Warren, aged 3 and 8 months respectively.
Warren is listed in the Sand hill cemetery as William W Branch, died 30 Aug 1865 aged 1y5m3d son of JW and RA Branch.
I've checked the cemtery records for JW but haven't found him so far. He's not listed in the death records for that period.
