Hi Donna,
There's really no great rush; they've waited this long, what's a little longer? Hope the maintenance man is okay -- my Dad's coming up on 89, starting to feel it.
Looking at my records again, there may NOT be many married daughters or granddaughters there. Most were either back in New Hampshire, New York, or in Lorain & Cuyahoga counties.

Yes, i've read about the Bates' family. There's a statue just upriver from me, in Alton IL, to another American giant, Robert Wadlow (1918-1940). Supposedly, the tallest human on record at 8'11.1". My two sons topped out at 6'5", which was hard enough to keep fed, clothed & shod. Sounds like a nice festival, but it's an 9-10 hour drive from here, so i'll have to pass on it.
