I am posting my query in hopes that others may be connected to same family as I'm researching, or that someone is willing to do lookups for me...
I am currently looking for information regarding my ggg grandparents, Alford DRISKELL & Sally DRISKELL, nee KNAPP(?). At this time I have been given info that Alford and Sally were married in Medina Co., OH, and that they were in same county of Ohio in 1850 Census. In 1860 & 1880 Censuses they were found to be in Fulton Co., OH, and in 1870 Census they were found to be in Michigan.
The only other information that I am aware of at the moment are that Alford & Sally had the following children (may have been more that I don't know of yet):
Stephen DRISKELL, b. abt. 1858 OH
Alice A. DRISKELL, b. abt. 1860 OH (May be Almira)
Emery E. DRISKELL, b. 1864 OH
Lillie May DRISKELL, b. abt. 1868 Michigan;m. Jacob U. Chamberlin.
Delbert J. DRISKELL, b. abt. 1872 Michigan
*Note: it was stated on a later census that Sally was widowed and known to have had 10 children with only 5 living at that time.
I have been in contact with another researcher whom provided me with info concerning Lillie May Chamberlin, nee DRISKELL. He has suggested that I ask for help in finding information on Alford and Sally along with their children from the Ohio message board, in hopes of having lookups done in Birth/Marriage/Death/Land records/and published local histories.
I look forward to finding contact with other distant cousins researching these same individuals, and as well appreciate any help that could be provided to me. I can be contacted at the email provided in my posting.
