I am looking for anyone with information on the Van Vleet family who lived in Medina County in the 1820s to 1860s.
I have found Van Vleet spelled Van Fleet, Vanvleet, Vanfleet, Vanolet, etc.
Benjamin Van Vleet and his wife were living in Medina County when son Alfred was born in 1827.
Daughter Sally Van Vleet married John Battle in Medina County on January 18, 1847. John and Sally were supposedly still living in Medina Co. in the early 1860s but I can find no record of them.
Another daughter of Benjamin with a second wife, Amanda Van Vleet, married Johnathan Lee May 30, 1867 in Medina Co.
Benjamin Van Vleet was living in Lafayette Twp. in 1845 when he wrote his will.
I can't seem to find any other records of this family and most of them are still missing from my records. Does anyone have any information of any suggestions for me?
