I recently learned that Rev. G.W. Emmanuel Metzger founded a Lutheran church in Medina County and married my gggrandparents in 1834. A man in Cleveland who calls himself German Bob is writing a book about the german immigrants to Cleveland. According to German Bob, Mary Diana and Rev. Metzger's first born child was named Theophilus. Mary Diana died March 3rd 1847 and Rev. Metzger married a white lady and in Dec. of 1847 she gave birth to twins. Whew, what a year 1847 was! I have no info on John Frederick.
