My gr-gr-grandfather, JOSEPH WARD PIMLOT, fought on the British side during the War of 1812, was captured Sept 10, 1813, and then settled in Medina Co. He married JOANNA BUNNELL Dec 21, 1820 in Euclid and was a naturalized citizen by 1824, but where will I find this record? After Joanna’s death, he married LOUISA FRENCH LOCKWOOD, a widow, on Apr 12, 1845. Their daughter, ESMERALDA PIMLOT, was born Jan. 2, 1846 in Summit Co and how might I get a birth certificate? Will be grateful for suggestions and/or information.
