There is an obituary for Daniel Tedrow in the "Marion Weekly Star" (Marion, Ohio) for Saturday, 26 Mar 1910. I found the obituary on Ancestry.com when I was researching more about this family. This is the text for the obituary: "Daniel Tedrow Dies of Heart Trouble: Death Comes at Home of Son Near Caledonia" "Caledonia, March 23 -- [Special]. Daniel Tedrow, who had lived here thirty years, died from heart trouble caused by the grip and complications, Tuesday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock, at the home of his son, Wilbur Tedrow, two miles southwest of here." "Mr. Tedrow was born in Pickaway county, May 2, 1839 [sic]. From Ohio he went to Illinois, where he enlisted for service in the civil war in K company, Tenth Illinois Infantry. Before going to the front, however, he was married to Miss Maria Inglemeir [sic; actually Anglemire], in 1860." "Some time after the close of the war, Mr. Tedrow moved with his family to Caledonia. His first wife died thirteen years ago. Three years after her death, he married Mrs. Martha Hummer, who died three years ago." "Mr. Tedrow was the father of ten children, six of whom are living. They are Mrs. Reita Zirkle, South Haven, Kansas; Mrs. Millie Pfile, Ryan, Oklahoma; Mrs. Belle Halbert, Corning, Kansas; Mrs. Lola Geyer, Greenleaf, Kansas; Wilbur Tedrow, Claridon township, and Burton Tedrow, Marion." "The funeral services will be held at the home of Wilbur Tedrow, Friday. The hour will not be determined until the arrival of relatives from the West." Notify Administrator about this message?
