I have found a possible name for you. I do not know if it is actually a connection or not. In the Tombstone Inscriptions of Marion County, OH book under the Pleasant Township Cemetery there is a listing for

Mary L Robinson, d/o J.D. and Susanna, d Apr 27 1848, 4yr 10mo 13da

Susanna F Robinson, w/o John D., d Mar 26 1843, 32yr 2mo

That would place Susanna's death at about the time Mary was born, and both would have been gone in 1850 when Eve was living with the Horde family. I found no listing for a John D. Robinson. It was just a thought. Good Luck.
