This may be only of moderate help. Mahoning County did not exist until around 1849....Austintown Twp was considered Trumbull County OH until that time. So, your ancestors did not "move" to Mahoning Co. It was only the county name that changed. It is quite possible that Mahoning Co would hold the records from years prior to 1849. You might look for old tax records for Austintown, TRUMBULL Co and check for BROUGHER families. That might help you to narrow down your hunt for Jane's parents. Happy hunting.
