Hi Pat,

I corresponded with you back in 2005 but missed the 2008 post between you and Terry. i just caught myself up. I see the area behind the once Maxey School house that you were referring to but wanted to ask a couple questions:
1. Did anyone approach the current landowner to see if any stones are out there?
2. Is the foundation for the school still there?
3. Would it be worth my while to go ahead and check it out? i am only an hor and a half away. Do you think it was plowed under?
4. I have a current map that I configured next to the 1875 map which shows the land layout now. Do you have an email address where i could send a copy and have you mark the spot with an X?

Thanks, Clay Crandall
4th great grandson of John Stroup
