John Baker never lived in Champaign Co. Him and Elsie lived in Monroe Twp in Mad. Co. They must have married in Franklin Co before they came over to Mad. Co. Elsie is mentioned in the history for Monroe twp in the Madison Co Ohio History and Genealogy web site. Her Father was David M. Bradley - no mention of her Mother. David M also had 2 brothers that lived in Monroe twp, Johan and James. If you look in that web site you'll find some info on the Bradley and Baker families.
Another web site that will help you is Madison Co Juvenile/Probate Court. This lists all births, deaths, and marriages for the county from day one. If you want, I'll look at David's cases up there.
1830 census shows John Baker in Monroe twp with 3 Bradley's - so does the 1840 census.
1850 census shows John and Elsie in Monroe twp.
Aug 12, 1855 shows a marriage for John Baker and Louisa Anderson.
1860 John and Louisa are in Monroe twp, Anderson children living with them.
1870 still in Monroe twp.
Aug 1, 1872 shows a death of John Baker.
Don't forget about the Mad. Co Juvenile/Probate Court web site, I found marriages for 7 of John and Elsie's children. Didn't look for the Anderson children. email is tdewitt124@juno.com
