Linda; There is very little info in the county for Caleb other than his and Martha's marriage. There's a marriage for Jessie and Rebecca Dixon on Dec 24, 1837, I expect they are sisters and probable brothers but don't know for sure. There is one connection for you in the early history of Range Township. It says Septimus Stuthard, a native of Virginia, settled on the place now owned by David Haskell. He did move from there, but remained a resident in this vicinity till his death. A few lines on down - Caleb Ramey, a brother-in-law of Mr Stuthard, probable setted here about the same date. And I did find in the early marriages for Ohio for both Septimus and Caleb in Ross Co. Caleb Ramey married Sarah Stuthard on Apr 6, 1809 and Septimus Stuthard married Jane Stuthard on Nov 21, 1813. I guess I would have to believe that this is Caleb's parents And there are other early marriages in Ross Co for Ramey's David to Margaret Stuthard on Dec 30, 1810 Jenny to John Black on Nov 1, 1810 Then the 1820 census for Range township shows Caleb there with 6 children and David Ramey with 4 children. Also Septimus Stuthard is in the township. The 1830 census shows both Caleb and Septimus in the same township. Then they don't show up in the 1840 census. In the county index for births, marriages, wills, etc. for the Ramey's, theres very little. You can get into it at Madison Co Juvenile/Probate Court and click on the index and look at all of the entries for any one you want.
