If you need Linson info they came from Greenbrier VA and the name was originally Thomlinson. Name was changed due to fear of Indian attack. Greathouse and a Thomlinson were involed in the killing of Corn Stalk's family in VA. Greathouse was captured and killed. They were afraid anyone with the name Thomlinson might receive the same fate so the name was changed to Linson.
The Selsor, Buffenbarger and Linson land ajoined each other in Stokes and Paint Twp Madison County Oh.
The Selsor house is still standing and is a very nice place. I attended the auction when they sold Della Selsor's things. I don't know what they did with family pictures etc but there was a neice, step daughter of David Graham, Della's nephew, who was an heir.
The David Selsor's were originally buried in the cemetery at Pancake Chapel cemetery located on Selsor Moon Rd Stokes twp but were moved to Kirkwood Cemetery, London OH.
The John Johnston family and the McHenry's lived in Range twp. I might have some info on John Johnston. believe they might be buried in the McClimans Cemetery Range twp. Will check and see what I find
more later
thanks
Pat
