Yes, Mr. Dewitt I would like to have some help. Are you related to the Campsey family?
I have a copy of his marriage record to Josephine Augustus from Madison Co., OH. They married 23rd April 1891. I also have copies of Josephine (d. October 1, 1947 in Bradenton, FL) and John's (b. May 31, 1866 d. July 1, 1940 in Madison Co., OH) obits from the Madison Press.
John's obit says he was born in Morgan Co., OH. I have found many of the Campsey in Morgan Co. but have not been able to connect him to any of them.
Both John and Josephine are buried in Bethel Cem., Range, Madison Co., OH. They had a daughter Ruth A. who married Lyle Llewelyn Timmons.
This is the info I have so far.
