Thank you so much for your offer, I really appreciate it so much. This is what I have: Civil War pension records for Bushrod Paine (it has his marriage to Margaret Kennelly), and Minor Paine. I am sending away for the pension record for Augustus/Gustavus Paine as well. I have the pension record also for Mortimer Carey, the husband of Elizabeth Paine (one of the Elizabeth's on the 1860 census), and it has the date of her marriage to Mortimer, but does not list the names of the children. One she had was Frank Carey who married Laura ?; I don't have the name of the other child she had with him. And I"m not sure who the parents of Jesse and John Paine really are. I think they were actually Elizabeth's as well. I also don't know who the father of Marietta Paine was, but she married someone with a last name of Mills, so if there are any marriage records/birth records for Marietta (Etta) Paine, John and Jess Paine, or any Carey's, that would be a big help. I have a copy of the obituary of Margaret Paine, William's wife, and I have small obits/death notices of Mrs. Minor Paine, Minor Paine,Gus Paine, a James Paine (I don't know who he is, but he is buried with a B. Paine and Bushrod Paine and there is also a John and Martha Paine; Also there is a Lizzie Paine in Oak Hill with Jess and Mary Carey that I don't know who she is.
If there is anything at all for a William Paine/Paine b. around 1811 or so and a will for Margaret Paine who died Sept. 7, 1893 that would be great. Please don't go out of your way or take too much of your time, I know how hard it can be looking for things, so don't go out of your way. Anything you could find would be so appreciated, this has just been such a mystery, especially what happened to William and who all of Margaret's children are. Thank you again!
