I've found a little for you. I found Jacob with his parents and siblings in the 1860 census in Ross Co. I also found and made a copy of their marriage record in Mad. Co Nov 14, 1877.
Jacob and Emma are buried in the Pleasant cemetery at the edge of Mt Sterling. Theres a Clara Kipp Tomlinson buried there also, but her age is off by about 5 years so I'm not sure if it's her. I guess she could have married the 3rd time to a Kipp, she died Dec 30, 1957.
Clara is in Franklin Co married to Theodore S. Walls with 2 children, Frank and Hazel, in the 1900 census. The 1910 census, she's married to Ernest Rhodes, married 3 years. Her Father is also with them. And the 1920 census still in Franklin Co and married to Ernest. I looked for Clara's birth record in Mad. Co and it's not there. Mt Sterling is only about a half mile from the Fayette Co line so maybe it's down there.
You didn't mention Edgar, her brother. I made a copy of his birth record for you.
Theres no obits for any of them in Madison Co. If you would like a copy of their death cert's, go to the Ohio Historical Society's web site and you can order them. Believe their $7.00 a piece. If you'd like these documents, just send me your address.
Jacob died July 27, 1916, Emma April 13, 1910.
