Need any help I can get there was An Ambler Family In the 1880 census in the MAdison County poorhouse.Ann Ambler widowed and Her Children. Her HUsband was referred to as Sherman Ambler . Ann Ambler was Seperated most of her Children. some went on Orphan Train threw Indiana Others to other places. My great Grand mother Ella Barbra Ambler And Her Brother Edward sherman Ambler were Adopted By the Jessup Family In Greensburg Indiana. The Jessups Only Wanted to adopt one child but Ella and Edward cried so hard for each other they took pity and adopted both they were about 5 years old or so when this happened they think that some of the other siblings were on this train but went further on the train. I a Looking for any information on Ambler family in madison county area any body see any in the 1870census in any records there? would Love to give my 90 year old Grandmother any informationwe can find on her mothers family.. many thanks velasarah@seidata.com
