Arzella Herman, 70, of 17 Metro Court, London, died at 3:59 PM Sunday in Madison Co Hospital where she had been a patient since Thursday evening. A lifetime resident of Madison Co, she was born Aug 11, 1914 a daughter of Pearl and Melissa Wilson. For eight years she was employed as a cook for the Red Brick Tavern. She was a member of the Bethel Pentecostal Church and the Missionary and Pastors Aid Societies of the church. She was also a volunteer for the Madison Co. Senior Citizens organization. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons; Richard Lee and Clarence Curtis Cooper; two sisters, Helen Jackson and Laura Wilson. Survivors are her husband, Emerson; four sons, Robert E, Raymond Lewis, Larry D., and Dean D. Cooper, all of London; four daughters, Mrs. Wilfred (Josephine) Artis and Mrs. Donald (Deloris M.) Frye of London; Mrs. Leonard (Elizabeth)Jackson of Beaver, Ohio and Mrs. Carrington (Vivian J) Price of Columbus; 31 grandchildren; numberous great-grandchildren; four brothers, Leonard, Rev. Robert, Clifford and Eldon Wilson, all of London; five sisters, Mrs. Katherine Thompson, Mrs. Dorah Duckett of Columbus, Mrs. Viola Walker, Mrs. Madge Jackson and Mrs. Nona Belle Cooper, all of London; numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be conducted at 1 pm Wednesday in the Bethel Pentecostal Church, London, Elder Thomas Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Lafayette Cemetery. Friends may call at the Eberle Funeral Home in London. Mrs. Herman will lie in state at the church one hour prior to services.
