My Smith Bailey was in Essex Co. in Wilmington and Jay New York. He had a child who died in 1813 in Vt. but had a child born in Wilmington NY in 1814. Smith is said to have died in Madison Co. Ohio in 1837. IF Lambert was the brother to Smith you might look in that county in 1820 & 1830.
