Jerri;
No Dunlop in Madison Co 1860 and 1880 census. Have these 2 John Dunlop's in the 1870 census;
John 39 M W Farmer born in Scotland
Catherine 30 F W Wales
Catherine 11 F W Wales
Anna 8 F W Ohio
Howell 6 M W Ohio
Robert 2 M W Ohio
They lived in Fairfield Twp, which would include Lilly Chapel.
John 37 M W Farmer laborer Ireland
Mary 32 F W Ohio
Bridget 17 F W Ohio
Maggie 12 F W Ohio
Rachel 11 F W Ohio
John 9 M W Ohio
Frank 8 M W Ohio
This family lived in Summerford Twp, which is north of London.
There's no marriages for Dunlop's married in Madison Co from 1810 to 1900 according to the marriage book in the Genealogy Dept in London. And there's no Robert or Peter in any of the 3 census. You must remember that Lily Chapel is about a mile from the Franklin Co. line east of them. I checked their research cards, and no one is listed as researching them in the county. I don't know if this will help much, neither one of them was listed as having a middle initial.
