1900 Toledo census, ward 13, Port Lawrence Twp., ED 103, living at 72 Walbridge avenue:
head, Carl, 49, b 4/1851, widow, Ger Ger Ger, immigrated 1880, naturalized, laborer lumber yard
dau, Bertha, 22, b 11/1877, Ger Ger Ger, imm 1880, nat.
son, August, 20, b 3/1880, Ger, imm. 1880, nat., teamster
dau, Adaline, 17, b 8/1882, OH
dau, Martha, 15, b 3/1885, OH, servant
son, Otto, 11, b 4/1889, at school
son, William, 8, b 10/1891, at school

In the 1910 census, still at 72 Walbridge is Charles/Carl HUEBNER and numerous relatives. Other household members were these ENGLEHARTs:
head, Otto, 33, md 10 yr, OH Ger Ger, stationary engr.
wife, Lena, 27, 7 chn, 5 living, OH Ger Ger
dau, Hellen, 8, OH
dau, Edna, 7, OH
son, William, 5, OH
dau, Myrtle, 3, OH
dau, Henrietta, 1, OH
bro, Frederick, 29, md, OH Ger Ger, brakeman-railroad
niece, Maria, 7, OH OH OH
plus these other HUEBNERs:
bil, Otto, 21, OH Ger Ger, blacksmith-railroad
bil, William, 19, OH Ger Ger, ?-railroad

I don't see how they packed that many people in that house. Even today it only has 3 bedrooms and 1 bath with a total living area of 776 square feet!

The OHDI (1913-37) shows a Charles HUEBNER d 17 Apr 1916, a Helen ENGLEHART d on 18 Oct 1918 and an August HUEBNER d on 13 May 1932, all in Lucas County.

I am not related to any of these surnames.
