Louis Bodie, 82, lifelong resident of Toledo and retired New York Centrak Railroad conductor, died Saturday in St. Vincent's Hospital following an illness of one month. He lived in 1470 Chester Street.
Mr. Bodie was a member of the Brotherhod of Railway Trainmen, Loyal Order of Moose and the Holy Name Society of St. Charles Church. Surviving are sons, Harry W., Joseph W., and John E. Bodie, Toledo; George L., Chicago; Louis J., Cleveland, and Ellsworth, Buffalo, N.Y.; daughters, Gertrude and Bernice Bodie. There also are 14 grandchildren.
The body is in the Coyle Funeral Home, where services will be at 9 a.m. tomorrow and at 9:30 a.m. in St. Charles Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
If the informant knew who Louis' parents were, his death cert should include that information. If Louis married in St. Charles Church, those records may show his parents' names, too.
