Thank you!! Dad was pretty sure the spelling started "Noeth...", i was ASSuming the 'an'. And i wasn't sure if the spelling was 'Freda' or 'Frieda'. That's them, all right. I'm wondering if her brother Herbert W. is the 'Uncle Wilfred' i remember. Freda's daughter's name was 'Betty'.
Concerning the (James) Thaddeus Thompson family -- Anna M. was born Wilhelm (i have that line), married first a Kissling (no information), was second wife of my great grandfather. Charles T. and (Henry) Randolph are actually half-brothers. I'm one of Randolph's grandsons. According to family legend, Thaddeus' father J.R. was born 26.Dec.1818 in Chenango county NY, died 29.May.1899 in Wahoo, NY. Now, i haven't been able to FIND a Wahoo NY, either past or present. Next best guess is Waterloo, in Seneca county NY.
Again, thanks! That's a few more pieces of the jigsaw puzzle in place, and some more leads to follow up on.
