I checked the 1906 Toledo city directory and there was a John H. BLACKMAN listed; pictures, 458 Clark, h same.
Then in checking the 1900 census, using Soundex for BLACKMAN (B425), he was listed in ED51:
Blackman, John H., white, Dec 1863, 36, New Jersey
Lucas, Toledo, Clark, 458
Blackman, Jennie, June 1872, 28, Austria
Goldberg, Augusta, SL, May 1879, 21, Austria
Myron, Arthur, BO, Nov 1876, 25, Michigan
Augusta was John's sister-in-law and Arthur was a boarder. Augusta may have been married to a GOLDBERG or this could have beern her, and Jennie's, maiden name.
