According to the Ellis Island Records website, Gust. SIEGLER arrived in New York on Aug. 23, 1892 aboard the "Dresden" from Bremen. This manifest does not show his birthplace but his last residence was Berlin.

In 1921, he returned from Europe on the ship "Rotterdam" from Rotterdam (Netherlands). On this manifest he stated he was a U.S. citizen of Toledo, having been naturalized on July 5, 1912 in the Lucas County Courthouse. His address is shown as 2340 "Opsten" Avenue. Maybe it's supposed to be Upton.
