I'm looking for any info on the family of Edwin A. Todd, Jr., son of Edwin A. and Martha (Johnston) Todd, Sr., born circa 1858 in Michigan and died sometime after 1930, probably in Ohio. Edwin married Myrtle "Mirtie" Oswald circa 1890, probably in Toledo, Lucas Co., OH. Myrtle Oswald, daughter of John William and Cordelia C. (Cordell) Oswald, was born in 1870 and died sometime after 1930, probably in Ohio.
Edwin and Myrtle were parents of at least two children:
Katherine Todd, born in 1890 in Ohio and died in 1978 in Orange Co., OH. Katherine married Claude Peter Arenz circa 1917, probably in OH. They were parents of one child, Jack T. Arenz, born in 1918.
Marguerite Todd, born circa 1893 in Ohio.
What I know about the family:
When Edwin was still in Michigan living with his parents, he was a clerk in a store in Owosso, Shiawassee Co., MI. The 1910 OH Census showed Edwin was a bookkeeper in a brush factory in Toledo, OH. He was 51, Myrtle was 39, Katherine was 19 and Marguerite was 17. Edwin and Myrtle had been married 20 years and had had two kids, both were still living. They lived on Fulton St. in Toledo's 4th Ward. The 1920 OH Census showed the family still living in Toledo's 4th Ward, now on Putnam St. Edwin A. was 61, Myrtle was 48, Marguerite was 26 and single, Katherine was 29 and married to Claude Arenz, age 30 and son Jack Arenz was age 1-11/12 (Jan 1920). Edwin was a bookkeeper in a sugar company. Marguerite did needlework at home. Claude was an insurance agent.
I would love to find a descendant of this family. I don't have access to the 1930 census and don't know what happened to this family. Daughter Katherine and her husband moved to California. Did Edwin and Myrtle die in Ohio? When? Did Marguerite marry? Did she stay in Ohio?
