I am hoping this sounds familiar to someone out there. I am doing research on the Ford side of my family. My ggg grandfather was William Ford he married Elizabeth Linehan. In the 1860 census there is a Cornelius Ford living in the same house hold with him. I am assuming it is a brother or at least a relative of some sort. Both William and Cornelius are listed as being born in Ireland. I would like to see if there is a connection between them and were in Ireland they came from, other siblings, etc.

This is the info I have found on Cornelius.

The 1860 census has them listed like this

1860 Lucas, Toledo 4th Ward June 28th 1860

Ford, Cornelius              age 27??       m       Ireland Drayman
       William              28       m        Laborer
       Elizabeth              30       f       Ohio
       Daniel                     3       m
       Alice                     2       f
       Catherine              1/12       f

Then in the 1870 census Cornelius is gone and just Elizabeth is listed with two children.

1870 Lucas Toledo 4th-Ward July 9th 1870

Ford Elizabeth 35 f w Keeping House Ireland
Dan 6 m w OH
Mary 9/12 Aug f w

Then by 1880 Elizabeth had been remarried and widowed to a to ???Moran.

1880 Census Toledo, Lucas Co., OH

Eliza Moran         self        w       female        W       38       Ire       K-House       IRE       IRE
Danl Ford        son        s       male        w       15       OH       W in Hotel       IRE       IRE
Mary Jane Ford dau        s       female        w       10       OH       at school       IRE       IRE
J. Francis Moran son s male        w 5       OH                     IRE       IRE
Jane Haley        sister s female        w 28 IRE Seamstress       IRE       IRE

Then by the 1900 census Elizabeth and just her daughter are living together. I can't find either one after The 1900 census.

I found Cornelius and Elizabeth's marriage...
m. January 21, 1861, Lucas Co., OH
       *Elizabeth Healey/Haley/Cornelius Ford

I did not find the one yet for Elizabeth's second marriage to ????Moran.

***Possible notes for Cornelius

I found this info on a Cory Ford. This person would be of the right age to be Cornelius. Would Cory be a nick name for Cornelius?? If I read the info right for 182nd it enlisted in Toledo area. There also was a Cory Ford in the 179th which is around the Camp Chase area.
